In order to get a mortgage or at least one that has favorable terms and a decent interest rate a person must have respectable credit. Now, living in today's world it can be fairly easy to tarnish your credit, a missed payment or two or even sometimes things that you were not aware of can decrease your chances of getting a decent loan.
