Why are so many people on ebay today?

I often wonder how the ebay craze started and if it will ever end? The first time I used ebay was to look for a computer, to my surprise they actually had some good systems. I had to check things like what type of Ram the computer had in it and whether or not the OS was included. (Tip-Make sure you check if it comes with one or not or you will find yourself with a new computer and no operating system) I was able to get a computer at a great price but back to what I think about ebay.. I think its great if your a seller because if you have a product that someone is looking for at a good starting price then gauranteed you will sell.
